Camberwell Beauty
The Camberwell Beauty Nymphalis antiopa is a rare and almost extinct
butterfly in the Netherlands. In 1995 however, there was large invasion from the end of July till the end of
September, almost exclusively in the northern part of the Netherlands
involving nearly 1000 individuals.

Some individuals managed to winter in the Netherlands, but only a very
few or none managed to breed a next generation.
